suicidal idratino
a poem by Kyra Maria Maßierer, English
Hoping one day something in me will change
(So) I will fly again soon
Life’s heart gives me a beating, heavy and weak
Please don’t splatter me on concrete, I’ll shatter, I’ll bleed
Across the street the dead dove lies. A stringless harmony
All these lines and points sewed into the sky
Not able to reach you
Am I only aware of that lullaby? Are you calling me?
Please leave me on concrete, today they’ll see me
Across the street the dead dove lies. My fading harmony
Who wants to hold their warm body on mine?
Should I fall with the moon?
Fall once in the stream and I feel, I’ll weep and reek
Please don’t cover me, only a feather left for me
Across the street a dead dove lies. It’s only memory. It died.
